I just got back from lunch with Chip Foose! Ross from Dakota Digital and I were invited to an event to unveil the new Foose Stallion Mustang (way cool) and to raise money for Progeria (premature aging disease), a foundation that Chip supports. His sister suffered from Progeria and passed away a few years ago at age 16.
Now I have to get the car ready to be downtown for Automaina by 4pm to make sure I can get a good parking spot far away from the bands. People tend to congregate in front of the stage and lean/sit/spill on the cars near by. Better safe than sorry.
Anyway, Chip's every bit as nice as he comes across on TV and is incredibly generous with his time. Neat guy!
Oh yeah, I'm the tall dorky looking one, and I even wore my flat sole bowling shoes! :)
