Outdoor Photos Before it Snows Part 1 |
Push, Pull or Drag
|
I pushed the car out of the garage Sunday afternoon to take a few photos of the car in the sunlight. You have to take advantage of days like this when it's mid November in South Dakota. It could snow tomorrow and not thaw out until May!
Part of the reason for pushing it out was to move it to its former stall so we could park our other vehicles in the garage. We had to scrape frost off our windshields a few mornings already.
This is my favorite shot. I liked it so much in fact that I made it into a desktop wallpaper that you can download on the "Fun stuff" page. Most of the front shots didn't turn out as good as I'd like so weather permitting, I'd like to take some more shots on an overcast day.

It still doesn’t seem like a real car – it’s way too quiet! We were never able to get it to run before SEMA and it will be a week or more before I’ll get a chance to look at it again. I believe it’s an issue with the ECU but I’m not certain. |

I couldn't be happier with the look from any angle. Now if we can get it to make some noise it will feel like it has a soul. Every car drives different and I can't wait to see how this one turned out.
The time before the next show in March will be spent tweaking every aspect of the car. When it rolls out the door in the spring it should sound, feel and smell as good as it looks. With more time to spend on the interior I'll be able to tweak and adjust the final fit so that the doors open and close like a Lexus and everything inside and out fits correctly.
