Finishing Behind the Seats Part 3 |

After it hardened, it was removed from the car. You can see all the paper and crap still attached to it. |

The piece is thin enough to cut with a sheet metal sheers. |

At this point its rough but close enough to reinstall in the car to check the fit before going too much further. |

It fit like a glove so a coat of kitty hair body filler was applied to the entire face of the piece to fill in any low spots. I thought since the piece is kind of flexible, I'd be best to start with strands for extra strength. |

I took it out in the backyard to work on it. I'm a shade tree mechanic when the weather is right. |

A final skim coat of lightweight filler was applied and sanded smooth. |
