In the proper position

The bracket was bolted in place using the same bolts that hold the shifter to the floor mounts and the rod was attached to the shifter.
ImageA small clip holds the aluminum rod in place on the shifter, just as it would have held the original cable.

ImageHere we see the shifter in First Gear (all the way back). Note the throw from Park to 1st gear.

It may be a while before I mount the decoder and hook it all up. That's the problem with real-time building; things happen in a mixed up order. For those who haven't caught on, a center console will cover the shifter base and sender.
